Delete your account

You can delete your account at any time. Deletion is permanent — chats, uploaded files, and personal details are removed from our active systems, and your subscription is cancelled at the same time. If you only want to stop being billed, cancelling the subscription is usually enough; deletion is the stronger step.

How to delete

1. Sign in and open the profile menu.
2. Choose Delete account.
3. Confirm by typing your email — this prevents accidental deletion.
4. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is queued. The process completes within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• All of your chats, including messages, attachments, and search index entries.
• Your profile, email, and any saved preferences.
• Active subscriptions and inference credit (these are cancelled at the moment of deletion).

What we are required to keep

Tax and accounting law requires us to retain payment records — invoices, refunds, the email tied to a charge — for several years. These records are kept in a separate, restricted system and are not linked back to a usable account.

Before deleting, you can export your chats as JSON or Markdown from the profile menu. The export bundles every conversation you can see in the sidebar.
